The BEARR Trust is delighted to invite you to a talk and discussion with Dr Armen Sarkissian, former president of Armenia (2018-2022), who will present his book The Small States Club: How Small Smart Powers Can Save the World and discuss the current political situation in Armenia. With relations between Armenia and neighbouring Azerbaijan deteriorating, this is an important and timely opportunity to hear Dr Sarkissian’s insights.
Date: Monday, 10 March 2025
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Committee Room 1, House of Lords (kindly sponsored by Lord Tyrie)
Hybrid Event with Limited In-Person Capacity
This event will be held in a hybrid format. We warmly welcome attendees in person in the Houses of Parliament, but space is limited. If you would like to attend in person, please register your interest by 28 February. We will review all in-person registration requests and confirm availability one week prior to the event.
Please note that registering your interest does not guarantee a place for in-person attendance. If we are unable to accommodate you in person, we hope you will join us online instead.
A Zoom link will be sent to all online participants closer to the date of the event.
Donations
The BEARR Trust’s events are open to all and free to attend. However, we kindly suggest donations of £20 per person, £10 for students and jobseekers, or more if you are able. Your support helps us continue our vital work in Armenia and beyond.
